Each year Weston Museum plays host to a number of events which provide opportunities for both enthusiasts and families to enjoy a great day out.

Salmagundi: UCW Arts Festival

Join UCW for a host of completely free events and exhibitions across Weston from Friday 15th March until Friday 12th April.


The UCW Arts Festival is celebrating the best in design, art, photography, film making, performance and music at UCW for a whole month!  The programme includes the first chance to see the Alt UCW graphic design collective’s touring show and buy their great prints, exhibitions by our Photography in Practice and Contemporary Art and Professional Studies students, screenings of our Film and Media Arts Production students’ work, and fantastic performances by our Dance for Commercial Performance, Musical Theatre, Performing Arts and Professional Music students.

Weston Museum, Burlington Street – Friday 15th March to Friday 22nd March.

Opening night event on Friday 15th March from 6pm to 8pm.

LT Gallery, Orchard Street – Friday 15th March to Tuesday 9th April (staff show from 15th March to 26th March / student show from 26th March to 9th April).

UCW Visual Arts event on Friday 29th March from 6pm to 8pm. 

Loves Café, West Street – Tuesday 19th March to Friday 12th April.

Opening night event on Thursday 21st March from 6pm to 10pm. 

Closing night event on Friday 12th April from 6pm to 10pm. 

Old Town Quarry Gallery, South Road – Wednesday 20th March to Wednesday 27th March.

'Bearing Fruit' Art Exhibition by Art for Wellbeing, Milestones Trust @ Weston Museum

This new art exhibition will showcase the work of people with mental health needs who have been participating in the ‘Art for wellbeing’ programme of workshops run by the Milestones Trust. Entitled ‘Bearing Fruit’, the exhibition will feature work by 18 art group members using a range of materials including watercolour, drawings and acrylics. This includes ‘Second Step’ art group who meet on Wednesdays at the Quaker building in Weston and facilitated by Fred Butterfield.
