Then join us at Weston Museum’s bar for a Lego and Beer Night.

The rules are simple: grab a drink. Build a Lego catapult. See who can fire it the furthest.

Tickets are £6 and can be obtained from the Museum.

Weston Museums latest Community Gallery exhibition relates to the Spanish Civil War.

In celebration of it’s launch we shall be hosting an evening of Spanish music and dancing.

Tea and Talk @ Weston Museum

Weston Museum’s monthly ‘Tea and Talk’ usually takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and features a wide variety of subjects and speakers from our wonderful band of volunteers.

Enjoy a short talk followed by a drink and some cake, with the opportunity for an informal chat with the speaker and to mingle with friends.

This month’s subject is The Spanish Civil War by Margaret Stewart-Fisher.

There is no need to book ahead and the small charge of £3 includes tea or coffee as well as some of the delicious homemade cake, baked on site at the museum in Claras’s Cafe.

Peter Leech has had an incredibly distinguished career in the field of music. Among his many achievements are directing the City of Oxford Choir and being conductor of the Bristol Bach Choir.

Alongside the highly respected local historian John Crockford-Hawley he will be giving a talk about Churches and Church Music in Victorian Weston-super-Mare.

Tickets cost £5 and are available by either popping into the museum or by calling 01934 621028.
