The Friends of Weston Museum host regular talks on topics of local historical interest. December’s event will be ‘A Festive Evening with the Friends’
Talks are free to members of the Friends (details of how to join can be found on the Friends page), a small fee on the door applies to non-members.
Come and join us for an evening of Christmas carols at Weston Museum.
North Somerset’s new choral ensemble Costanzi Consort present a feast of Christmas carols old and new.
The evening will also feature rare historic music by some North Somerset composers.

Weston Museum and Terrestrial have a whole host of activities kicking off over the next couple of weeks (all free): weekly choir sessions and dance workshops, and the launch of the ‘Guerrilla Media Unit’ of myth-makers. There is a taster session coming up for anyone interested in our Local Advisory Group.
Please book for the Weston-Super Rocks painting workshops as they are very popular! Rocks cost £2.00 each to decorate.

Relax and enjoy delicious Christmas treats in the Museum’s Clara’s Cafe.
Weston Museum will be hosting a theatre show exclusively for children aged 3 and up and their families.
Soap Soup Theatre will be presenting The Snow Baby, a magical show with beautiful puppetry, imaginative storytelling and music.
Shows at 11am and 2pm.
Tickets are £8.50 each and under 2’s are free.

Weston Museum’s monthly ‘Tea and Talk’ usually takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and features a wide variety of subjects and speakers from our wonderful band of volunteers.
Enjoy a short talk followed by a drink and some cake, with the opportunity for an informal chat with the speaker and to mingle with friends.
This month’s subject is “17th Century and Their Way of Life” by Keith Berry-Davies.
There is no need to book ahead and the small charge of £3 includes tea or coffee as well as some of the delicious homemade cake, baked on site at the museum in Claras’s Cafe.

Weston Museum shall be hosting a Reading and Writing Poetry workshop. This will be for seven weeks commencing Wednesday 23rd January.
It shall be run in conjunction with the Workers Education Association.
The course will cost £52 but those receiving certain benefits may be entitled to undertake the course for free.
Join us for a weekend of railways.
Weston Museum will play host to huge scale model railways, scale model engines, an exhibition and an evening lecture series.
Its all absolutely free except the evening lecture series where tickets cost £2.50
