Weston Museum Learning Programme is currently developing sessions for home education families in the local area and will be leading a taster session on Thursday 10th November all about Fossils and Dinosaurs. The session is mainly aimed at key stage 2, but slightly younger and older children can happily be included. There will also be the chance to share your thoughts on the development of future sessions and ongoing provision for home education families, both during the refurbishment and in the future museum education space.

Dig for fossils, learn about the different types and make your own mini fossil to take home. Piece together some dinosaur skeletons, map out dinosaur sizes and even dress up like a dinosaur!

Date – Thursday 10th November 2016

Time – Session starts at 11am and goes on until 2.30pm, with a break in the middle between 12.30 and 1pm

Location – YMCA, 2 Bristol Road Lower, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 2PN

Price – Special introductory price of £2.50 per child (payable on the day), bookings must be made in advance due to limited numbers, please book before Monday 7th November
