Mar 16 @ 11:00 – 13:00

Guest speaker David Skidmore shares family WW1 stories and discusses the remarkable turn of events that lead to the establishment of the Skidmores shop in Worle High Street, one hundred years ago.

Weston Museum’s monthly ‘Tea and Talk’ usually takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and features a wide variety of subjects and speakers from our wonderful band of volunteers.

Enjoy a short talk followed by a drink and some cake, with the opportunity for an informal chat with the speaker and to mingle with friends.

There is no need to book ahead and the small charge of £3 includes tea or coffee as well as some of the delicious homemade cake, baked on site at the museum in Claras’s Cafe.

Future topics will be announced on our Facebook page (@westonmuseum)
