Donating Objects

We focus on collecting objects with a strong North Somerset connection. This includes objects which were found in North Somerset or made by a known North Somerset person or organisation. If you are considering donating an object to the Museum we would welcome the chance to discuss this with you.

We really appreciate offers of donations from members of the public but will not always be able to accept objects. This may be because we already have similar items in the collection or because the item is more relevant to another Museum.

Please do not bring any objects to the museum without contacting us first.

If you would like to discuss the possibility of donating an object, please contact the South West heritage Trust directly on 01823 278805 or email museums@swheritage.org.uk.
